How Our Google Ads Pricing Works
How is my recommended Google Ads budget calculated?
Your recommended advertising budget is based on the average cost-per-click (CPC) of relevant keywords in your market, competition, search demand and the volume of traffic required to give your campaigns a meaningful opportunity to generate conversions.
As a general benchmark, we aim to budget for approximately 10 relevant clicks per day. For example, if your target keywords average $8 per click, an initial advertising budget may be around $80 per day.
Every market is different, so we’ll recommend a budget based on the actual opportunities available to your business rather than applying the same minimum spend to every campaign.
Which Google Ads management plan is right for my business?
Your management plan is determined by more than advertising spend alone. We consider the number of services you’re advertising, the campaigns required, your advertising investment, market opportunity and the overall level of management and optimisation your account needs.
Growth is designed for focused advertising of one core service with up to two campaigns.
Advanced is designed for businesses advertising multiple services or requiring multiple campaigns and is typically suited to businesses investing $100+ per day.
Elite is designed for businesses requiring more advanced strategy, increased optimisation, complex campaign management and ongoing scaling.
We’ll recommend the appropriate package based on what your business actually requires.
Is my Google Ads spend included in the management fee?
No. Your Google Ads spend is paid directly to Google and is separate from NatPhi Media’s management fee.
Your ad spend determines the budget available for Google to generate clicks and conversions, while our management fee covers the strategy, campaign management, tracking, analysis, testing and ongoing optimisation of your account.
We’ll recommend an appropriate advertising budget before launching your campaigns, so you’ll understand both your Google Ads investment and management costs upfront.
Your Google Ads Questions Answered
What are Google Ads and why are they important?
Google Ads is an online advertising platform developed by Google where advertisers pay to display brief advertisements, service offerings, product listings, and video content within the Google ad network. They are important because they can help drive targeted traffic to your website, increase brand awareness, and generate leads and sales quickly.
How long does it take to see results from Google Ads?
Results from Google Ads can be seen almost immediately after the campaign goes live, with impressions and clicks typically starting within hours. However, achieving optimal performance and ROI may take several weeks of data collection, analysis, and adjustment.
What are the key factors that influence Google Ads performance?
Key factors include keyword relevance, quality score (which comprises expected click-through rate, ad relevance, and landing page experience), bid amount, ad copy effectiveness, targeting options, and the overall competitiveness of the industry.
Do I need to hire a Google Ads agency, or can I manage Google Ads myself?
You can manage Google Ads yourself using Google’s user-friendly platform. However, hiring a Google Ads agency can be beneficial as they bring expertise, advanced strategies, and time-saving tools, which can lead to better results and higher ROI.
How much do Google Ads cost?
Google Ads costs vary based on your industry, competition, and campaign settings. You can set a budget that suits your business, and costs are typically measured on a cost-per-click (CPC) basis. The average CPC ranges from a few pence to several pounds, depending on the competitiveness of the keywords.
Can I rank #1 on Google for any keyword with Google Ads?
With Google Ads, you can appear at the top of the search results for your chosen keywords if your bid is high enough and your quality score is good. However, maintaining the #1 position consistently may be costly and not always the most efficient use of your budget.
Is Google Ads a one-time effort, or does it require ongoing maintenance?
Google Ads requires ongoing maintenance to achieve the best results. Continuous monitoring, analysis, and optimization are necessary to improve ad performance, adjust for market changes, manage budget, and ensure you are targeting the right audience effectively.
